House Rules
Resident Notes are a curated public record, not a general social feed. Residents shape the pressure; the house retains control of the conclusions.
- Add evidence.
- Identify what the story missed.
- Disagree with the argument rather than the person.
- Do not harass, threaten, impersonate, expose private information, spam, or knowingly fabricate evidence.
- Leave the record more useful than you found it.
How the record works
Only active paid Residents may add a Note or reply on stories where the house opens a thread. The first Note enters review. Publication is not guaranteed, and a Note does not guarantee a correction, new coverage, Signal Board action, or any other editorial response.
Published Notes can be reported. Community moderators may approve, reject, hide, restore, request revision, warn, restrict commenting, or escalate a case. They cannot silently rewrite Notes, alter billing or paid membership, edit stories, or administer accounts. Emergency redaction is reserved for exposed personal information or an equivalent safety risk and is visibly labeled.
Paid membership and commenting privileges are separate. A commenting restriction does not remove Casa, Ballot Box, Signal Board, Dispatch, billing, or paid membership access. When membership expires, published Notes remain public and their authors may still edit or withdraw them.
